Microsoft 365
Microsoft 365 is a huge platform with a broad range of fantastic tools and services. Most organisations only use a fraction of it. LIMA’s managed Microsoft 365 service covers licensing, configuration, security and day-to-day support, so you know what you’re paying for, what you’re using, and that you’re using it safely as your adoption of the platform continues to develop.
Make the most of Microsoft
Most 365 tenancies were stood up quickly, often back when it was still called Office 365, and have been added to ever since. Users come and go, licences are assigned and never reviewed, and policies that made sense at the time have been left alone because nothing appears broken.
What you end up with is a platform that works but fails to truly realise the full value of M365’s incredible toolset. LIMA helps your organisation to match your specific operational needs to the licences and tools that deliver greatest value, with security and compliance front of mind.
Getting the platform to earn its keep
Microsoft 365 is where identity, devices, data, collaboration and security all meet. Configured well, it does a great deal of heavy lifting.
A LIMA build covers identity and access, conditional access policies through Entra ID, device enrolment and compliance through Intune, data protection and retention, and the reporting that lets you evidence all of it. Where you are migrating in from an on-premise environment or consolidating tenants after an acquisition, our Professional Services team runs a PRINCE2-managed project with the scope and cost agreed up front.
We also manage policy and compliance across our customers’ 365 tenancies from a single multi-tenant platform. That means we can audit any tenancy against a known set of compliance requirements, tell you where you pass and where you fail, and put it right at short notice. Very few providers in our market work this way.
Microsoft 365 licensing, handled properly
LIMA has been licensing Microsoft software for over 25 years, with a qualified in-house team. If you ask us to review your current arrangements, we will guarantee to beat your existing price and tell you where the licence efficiencies are.
Right-sizing works in both directions. Business Standard covers the apps. Business Premium adds Intune for device management, Defender for Business for endpoint protection, Entra ID P1 for conditional access, and data loss prevention. For a modest step up in cost, that is the difference between a productivity suite and a platform you can build secure, flexible working on. Whether Business Premium, E3 or E5 is right for you depends on your size, sector and obligations, and we specialise in helping organisations deliver the best solution at the best price.
Day to day, you can self-provision: add, assign and remove licences in seconds as people join and leave. Billing arrives monthly by email, automated and itemised, showing what has been bought and how each licence is being used. You can start with a single licence, and lock in today’s price for three years on anything you add later.
For licensing beyond Microsoft, including Dell, Cisco, Veeam and Hornetsecurity, see our Software Licence Management service.
Trusted by

Device management with Microsoft Intune
Intune is where a lot of the practical value sits, and it is included with Business Premium, E3 and E5. We use it to enrol and manage company and personal devices, apply compliance policies, deploy applications and updates, and configure new machines through Autopilot so a laptop can be shipped straight to a new starter and set itself up.
It also keeps an accurate record of every device attached to every user, which is exactly the asset list Cyber Essentials asks for, and it is the route we use to deploy desktop patches through our VDR service. Paired with conditional access, this is the control that decides whether an unmanaged device gets to touch your data at all.
A complete security and backup wrap
Microsoft does not back up your data. That responsibility sits with you, and it catches organisations out.
As Hornetsecurity’s Partner of the Year 2025, and only UK Gold Partner, LIMA delivers automated, immutable Microsoft 365 backup for Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, alongside AI-driven email security, security awareness training, access and permission controls, and domain fraud protection.
