Charity fundraising and volunteering
We are proud to have a long-standing commitment to supporting charities and making a meaningful difference to the lives of those in need.
Over the years we have partnered with a variety of local and national charitable organisations, providing both financial contributions and hands-on support through employee volunteering initiatives.
LIMA’s Charity Partners
Each year, LIMA supports a charity chosen by our team. These charities are often based in Greater Manchester and support causes close to our team’s heart.
Previous charities of the year include Lifeshare, a Greater Manchester-based charity supporting individuals affected by homelessness, and Loaves and Fishes which supports the homeless, isolated and vulnerable in our home of Salford and the surrounding area. Fundraising activities include physical challenges like the Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride and the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge.
2026 Charity Partner
In 2026 we are once again supporting the incredible cancer support charity, Maggie’s. We’ll be working to give the garden at Maggie’s Manchester centre a glow-up, and raising money through a range of physical challenges and team activities.
In partnership with Loaves and Fishes, we are looking forward to leveraging our technical expertise to make a difference. Our team are set to attend basic IT workshops at local community drop-in sessions, empowering individuals with essential digital skills to gain knowledge and skills to reduce the risk of future homelessness.
