LIMA appointed by Satchell Moran to support long-term IT transformation

Satchell Moran Solicitors has appointed LIMA as its managed IT services partner with a brief to modernise IT and improve efficiency for fee earners.

Satchell Moran is an ambitious, fast-growing law firm supporting individuals and businesses with practical, high-quality legal advice.

With over 130 employees across two Liverpool offices, Satchell Moran was looking for a partner that could provide both outstanding managed services and a clear roadmap for modernising its technology environment for the long-term.

LIMA will deliver proactive IT support across infrastructure, networking and Microsoft 365, alongside Backup as a Service and On Demand Service Desk to manage Satchell Moran’s end user estate.

Alongside day-to-day support, Satchell Moran is set to embark on LIMA’s LegalTech Blueprint – a tried and tested IT roadmap which helps legal firms improve long-term productivity, resilience and scalability. Planned work includes assessment and optimisation of the firm’s case management environment, migration to LIMA Cloud Services and broader adoption of applications within the M365 suite.

Early work has already seen users migrate to Microsoft Business Premium, improving security while creating a platform for future enhancements such as modern device management and identity controls.
