LIMA’s Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) continuously replicates your production virtual machines to a secondary environment – either on LIMA’s UK-based Cloud or in Azure, depending on your preference. If your primary environment goes offline for any reason, those replicated machines can be invoked within hours, giving your organisation a working system to operate from while the primary infrastructure is repaired.
It’s a fundamentally different model to the old approach of buying double the infrastructure you needed and hoping the standby kit still works when you need it. With DRaaS, you pay a reduced monthly fee for the reserved capacity, and only pay the full rate when you invoke it.
