LIMA teams up with UA92 to boost Linux skills

Managed IT service provider LIMA is teaming up with University Academy 92 (UA92) to deliver a 10-week Linux bootcamp for its service desk team.

The bootcamp is designed to upskill LIMA’s technical support team in Linux and cloud computing, building a wider range of tech specialisms into the provider’s managed services.

Linux powers around 96% of the world’s top 1 million web servers and over 90% of cloud infrastructure, but remains a relatively niche skillset, particularly in organisations without extensive in-house IT departments.

The investment in training through UA92 will arm LIMA with the tools to troubleshoot Linux issues for customers and offer advice to further support organisations without Linux skills in-house.
