NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) provides end-to-end support to health systems, employing approximately 1,750+ people.
It includes fifty clinical commissioning groups, 10 sustainability and transformation partnerships, covering one-quarter of England’s population with a total healthcare spend of 14.9billion.

MLCSU wanted to transition their IT infrastructure to a private cloud platform supported by a managed service.
Their infrastructure hosts key applications in the delivery of services to employees, customers and patients, therefore, ensuring availability and security at all times was paramount.
LIMA proposed an Infrastructure as a Service solution, helping to lower overall costs and increase flexibility in migration and ongoing management.
Additionally, MLCSU benefitted from LIMA Disaster Recovery as a Service, replicated to a secondary data centre and LIMA 24x7 ProActive support.
LIMA has recenlty delivered our new flagship service, Cloud Optimise, to help them maximise the value of their cloud environment and gain transparent control over costs.
